Місто Олешки на Херсонщині перебуває в гуманітарній блокаді і знаходиться на грані катастрофи.

За різними оцінками, там залишається понад 6 тисяч людей, серед них близько 200 дітей.

Росіяни перешкоджають людям залишати місто. Критична інфраструктура фактично зруйнована, електро- та газопостачання відсутні.

Все заміновано. Там не підвозять ліки та їжу. Там тіла людей на вулицях.

У 2023 році Олешки також пережили масштабне затоплення після підриву російськими військами греблі Каховської ГЕС.

I’ve been reading comments about Oleshky, and some people say: “We’ll share this, but we’re losing hope because there’s nothing we can do to change the situation.”

That’s not true. You can make a difference.

The more we speak about what is happening in Oleshky, the more attention it gets. And the more people speak up, the harder it becomes for world leaders, international organizations, and organizations like the Red Cross to ignore what is happening.

Maybe one person cannot change the situation. Maybe not everyone will be able to help directly. But together, through constant pressure and attention, we can push for action and demand that Russia allow humanitarian assistance and stop people from being left to die.

It is easy to give up. It is easy to say, “There is nothing I can do.”
But we cannot afford to do that.
There are people in Oleshky. Their lives are in danger. People are facing hunger. People are dying.

So please, don’t stop.
Tag your leaders. Tag international organizations. Tag journalists, bloggers, public figures and people who have a voice and an audience.

Keep talking about Oleshky.
Keep sharing.
Keep demanding action.
Let the people of Oleshky be heard.

More than 6,000 people, including around 200 children, are facing starvation in ruzzian-occupied on the left bank of Kherson Oblast.
The ruzzian terrorist state is blocking aid and preventing civilians from leaving. People are trying to escape through mined roads and fields. No one knows how many will make it. Thousands remain trapped, slowly starving.

As a Ukrainian, I can say that I’m no longer surprised by constant rashists attacks going unpunished. I’m no longer surprised that, somehow, we are expected to prove we deserve the weapons we need to defend ourselves — though I still don’t understand why. I’m no longer surprised to see world leaders sit down and negotiate with the ruzzian terrorists state attacking us.
But there is one thing I still cannot comprehend: how can anyone stand by and watch people starve to death? How can this be acceptable?
