The algorithm Hans Hannula described in "In Search of the Cause of Cycles." Stocks & Commodities V. 5:3 (93-98) year 1987.

I purchased the article directly from Technical Analysis, Inc. The article text and figures remain theirs. The computation itself, Hannula placed in the public domain. His words in Cycles, December 1988: "The purpose of the original article was to put the computation in the public domain."

He described it. The equation and figures were on the page. No code was published. I built the implementation based on that description.

Cybersecurity has now overtaken the Semiconductors as market leaders, at least for the quarter. 94% of $BUG stocks are up since reporting earnings, while just 76% of $SMH. We'll get results from $ZS $S and $OKTA this week, with $PANW and $CRWD next week, but in late June, $BB will report. The company reported A+ earnings last quarter, and now appears to be in Stage 2.

-To confirm the top need a close below 581 in SMH & 533 in SOXX and breaking 10d FLD which would be a few % low. Would signal 20D cycle has peaked and potentially longer ones too.
-Close below May 19th (SMH 527) would be a major red flag. Note empty air below current range and 420 base. But taking it 1 day at a time.
