Has the Phillies and Giants on their RSN. The Red Sox say NESN but I wonder if they mean NBC Sports Boston. The Athletics are not listed for NBC Sports California yet.

@TheRajGiri It’s just common sense. If they moved it off NBC for poor performance they would have waited till after Cenas last match which would have pulled a huge number. Only reason to yank that off the network was to protect Peacock who already lost the PLEs

@Switchblade97 interest (at least publicly) They also overpaid and seemed desperate to get a deal done. That’s why I say there is a chance. Unlikely but a chance. The Raw/Smackdown contracts from 2019 are out. Worth a read as each was negotiated separately and had different restrictions.

So they would want to prevent AEW from ever going to Paramount badly and would go out of their way to do it. Paramount does not carry pro wrestling and never showed any recent

@Switchblade97 I wouldn’t it’s apples to apples to be fair. Restricting MMA for Netflix or ESPN would be an absolute dealbreaker and would end talks. Plus UFC isn’t being aggressive toward other MMA companies or seem like they care.

@Switchblade97 Just wanted to add that should in theory not include pro wrestling on Paramount. Just MMA. But I would not be shocked if TKO tried to add pro wrestling to list. Whatever Paramount would have agreed to that is doubtful but I will say it’s at least possible.

@Switchblade97 WWE has always put exclusively clauses in their contacts dating back to the 90s. Last time it was enforced was in 2023. Netflix almost certainly has the same clause. Considering how fast Paramount dumped BKFC after they signed with UFC there is a good chance they have one too.
