Hi @JRsBBQ I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy yesterday & while it was scary losing feeling in one side of my face... during my hospital stay I found strength in the knowledge of your fight against this affliction & your success in life during & after... you are an inspiration 👍🏻
📽️What's @Keir_Starmer's economic legacy? Is he really right that the UK is growing faster than its peers? If so, why doesn't it feel like it?
Today was more about politics than economics, but why should we let that keep us from the big screen?
A trot through some of the data👇
I don’t think they’ve considered, for a second, how disconnected from the electorate this little tableaux is - complete with the Chancellor in shot, vying for a job no doubt.
It’s also, classless, only a few hours after their leader and PM fell on his sword.
This won’t end well.
🤯 what on Earth have I just watched - @peterkyle: “It’s not a question”… to a literal question asked by @CamillaTominey. It’s a question that he doesn’t want to acknowledge, that he refuses to answer, but a question, it is. What a car crash interview.
It’s because he talks down to voters, doesn’t listen and takes a holier than thou approach even though he clearly doesn’t stand for anything himself… not rocket science really
Starmer’s been a poor PM, but the vitriol and hatred towards him is just weird. It comes from both the far left and far right. It’s contrived by people whose motives are deeply suspect. Part of me wants him to survive just to spite them.
This 👇👇👇 a vote for Burnham was the quickest way to dethrone Starmer. Nothing more to read into this. Reform would have beat anybody else comfortably. Restore not a factor.
Labour have nearly doubled their vote share from the GE. Starmer is finished. Anyone other than Burnham would have lost this. Every other party apart from Reform will have lost their deposit.
🚨TRUMP TORCHES KEIR STARMER AGAIN: “I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT!” 😳
In yet another brutal public dressing-down at the G7, President Donald Trump has ripped into UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for abandoning Britain during the Iran War.
A clearly disappointed Trump revealed exactly what he told the PM: “It would be nice if you send ships.”
Starmer’s reply? “They’ll be there as soon as the war is over.”
Trump’s stunned response: “I said, ‘Did he just say that?’ I couldn’t believe it actually.”
Starmer is being humiliated on a daily basis. Trump publicly tearing into him at the G7 is yet another embarrassing humiliation for our woefully weak leader.
Others at Makerfield HQ messaging to dispute the frosty/divided characteristic. But that has definitely been view of multiple there. Differing recollections all round!
SNAP ANALYSIS: Sat down with Starmer today and encountered a very different PM. More willing to lean into Qs, less defensive and determined to carry on for as long as he can. Some takeaways from our conversation
We won trophies in the two seasons before he joined. He took over a team disappointing in 8th and led us to 15th… after excellent recruitment we still struggled in his second season… think everyone trusted the project far more than they should have done.
🚨🎙️ Ruben Amorim: 🔴
"My time at Manchester United was difficult because from the start I felt the club never fully backed me. They brought me in because of my ideas and philosophy, but when it was time to be patient and support the project, that trust disappeared.
You cannot ask a manager to rebuild a team and then expect miracles in a few months. Every successful project needs time, support, and belief from the people above. Unfortunately, I didn't feel I was given enough of any of those things.
The club wanted immediate results while I was trying to build something for the future. When things became difficult, instead of standing behind the process, they started questioning it.
I accept my mistakes, but I also believe I deserved more time and more backing to show what this team could have become.
But that's all in the past now. I have no bitterness towards Manchester United and I genuinely wish the club the very best going forward. I'm also proud and excited to be back managing one of the biggest clubs in the world.
We will meet again during pre-season, and it will be nice to see familiar faces, reconnect with people at the club, and enjoy a good football occasion. Football moves fast, but the respect will always remain."
Because the Conservatives at the last election (and in all honesty since 2005) have not been a party of the right… Farage stood down his candidates in 2019 to ensure Brexit was delivered… Kemi will in 2029 lead a proper Tory party but currently she doesn’t
I get the Reform argument a vote for Restore is a vote for Burnham. But what I don’t understand is how that’s different from the argument the Tories made two years ago that a vote for Reform was a vote for Starmer. Can someone explain the intellectual or political difference.
In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel.
This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide.
I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
No spines were shattered at Filton. The officer walked unaided from A&E. Later a small, hairline fracture to the transverse process (the bony projection that sticks out from the side of a vertebra) was identified & the officer was advised to take paracetamol. Truth matters.
BREAKING NEWS:
“A DEAL HAS TO BE DONE.”
Ben Habib signals he’s open to talks in 2028 with Rupert Lowe, Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch to prevent a left-wing government.

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel.
Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it.
A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.
