@MattKelley9932@jprutherford@nytimes True, but in the article he referenced Bourque and possibly needing a 2nd rounder, so that's why I mentioned it.
But going after Bedard with those 1sts would be nasty work. But CHI has the salary cap room to match though, unlike EDM did 2yrs ago.
@wyshynski I like the Parayko trade, but I'd like them to somehow get back the '27 2nd rounder we sent ANA in the Fowler trade to go after Mavrik Bourque with an offer sheet
@soIoucity He had even said recently that he was done in Vegas after the playoffs. I don't think either side had expectations that he'd be the coach next season
@hochman I was on the opposite side of the street right there. It ended being a great spot because the parade kept getting backed up in that spot so the players hung around a long time.
Toe Blake with Montreal, Hap Day with Toronto and Cooney Weiland with Boston are the only other people in NHL history to both captain and coach the same organization to a Stanley Cup. Pretty neat company for Rod BrindโAmour.
@wyshynski There's always that dude every fan base loves to bash but the second he's the subject of trade talk he's worth a 1st and a prospect *looks at Blues fans and Jordan Kyrou*
@jprutherford@nytimes At least 5 of these guys played during every season of Steen's tenure from 08-20. And twice when someone left, Perron came back (Backes in 16, Berglund in 18). Crazy how so many from the top 10 played in just that era.
