1. My son, currently in 400 Level Medicine and Surgery scored 333 in JAMB but his name did not even APPEAR on the Admission List. I was later told by the Institution that, my son could be offered Micro Biology. I told the Registrar of the institution POINT BLANK that, "I have spent HUGELY (Several Millions of Naira) to get my Son to this Point of Entry (PoE) to become a Medical Doctor and not to become a Biology Teacher through her offer of Micro Biology. This Registrar was so MEAN. She simply told me, we are very sorry, Micro Biology is the BEST we can OFFER your son.
2. At this Juncture, I proceeded to JAMB Headquarters, Abuja to meet with Prof. Oloyede who swiftly asked for my son's JAMB details, punched these details into his laptop and everything concerning the university came up on his screen.

3. Prof. Oloyede said and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, please go back home and sleep with your two eyes closed. From what I am seeing on my screen, your son is No.3 on the List of Medicine and Surgery of this institution with a JAMB SCORE of 333 which comes behind two other JAMB scores of 348 & 334 respectively. Unfortunately, none of these chaps, including your Son (i.e JAMB Score 348, 334 and 333) made the Admission List"

4. Prof. Oloyede continued and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, in SANE countries, this Institution should have sent the College Driver with an official vehicle to go and fetch your son from Ekiti to campus having projected himself into the MERIT LIST of this Institution but unfortunately, the endemic corruption in these institutions will just not allow them to follow Due Process"

5. Right in my presence, Prof. Oloyede put a call through to the Vice Chancellor of this Institution, setting his phone on speaker and spoke angrily at the Vice Chancellor, lamenting on the endemic corruption under his nose as it concerns university admission. This Vice Chancellor apologized to Prof. Oloyede saying what has just happened must have been an ERROR of OVERSIGHT on the part of his Management Team & promised Prof. Oloyede that he will personally ensure the Error of Oversight is corrected.

6. Within 24 hrs of that conversation between Prof. Oloyede and the Vice Chancellor, my son checked the university's Admission Portal and discovered his name has been INCLUDED as Number Three on the admission list while the names of the other chaps that scored 348 & 334 also appeared on the admission list as Number One and Number Two respectively.

7. The good news in all of these is that, my son that would have been CRIMINALLY denied admission ab-initio now TOPS his class with a G.P.A of 4.85

This is neither Federal nor State government doing... Every sector of the economy in Nigeria is corrupt.

NDLEA came to Makoko yesterday evening trying to arrest some drug dealers.

They got to a street before mine in rage, made everyone run helter-skelter with some leaving their wares behind.

They finally targeted someone or two, but they ran away with help from some big boys Tout in the area who didn’t want them to arrest anyone. So they fought them while the targeted boys ran away.

While they were leaving, they saw an Aboki caring for his goods who stubbornly refused to run and was the only one in the empty street.

They shot the Aboki fruit seller (he was one of my favourite fruit seller) on his forehead and he died instantly.

His name was Muhammed.

They shot him just because he didn’t run like the others. It was an hour to Iftar.

They shot him and immediately ran away. He did them nothing.

I don’t know if it was his stubbornness that killed him or the fact that Nigeria is just an uncultured place where armed forces can shoot anyone they deem fit.

Alleged N110.4bn Fraud: Witness Narrates How $760,910 Was Used to Pay School Fees of Yahaya Bello’s Children.

A prosecution witness in the trial of a former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello, on Thursday, March 12, 2026 narrated before the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, Maitama, Abuja, how a total sum of $760,910.84 was paid as advance school fees for children of the former governor at the American International School Abuja (AISA).

The witness, Nicholas Okehone, an Internal Auditor with AISA and Prosecution Witness 14, PW14, made the disclosure while testifying before Maryanne Anineh, who is presiding over the trial at the FCT High Court, Maitama.
Bello is standing trial alongside Umar Shuaibu Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu on a 16-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust and money laundering to the tune of an alleged ₦110.4 billion.

Led in evidence by prosecution counsel Professor Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, Okehone confirmed that the first defendant had four children enrolled in the school.

Asked if he knew the defendant, the witness replied: “Yes, I know him as a parent. He has children in my institution. He has four children at the American International School, Abuja.”
When asked to recall their names, Okehone mentioned Zahra Fatima, and Na’ima, adding that Nana Fatima Bello and Farid Bello were also among the children. He also confirmed that Zayyan Ali Bello, the son of Ali Bello, a nephew to the former governor, was among the beneficiaries of the payments.

Okehone further confirmed several documents previously tendered before the Federal High Court, including:
* Certificates of identification
* Admission letters
* An agreement for pre-payment of school fees until graduation
* Telex copies of payments from banks in the United States
* Email correspondences between AISA and Ali Bello
* School receipts and statements of account from Zenith Bank and TD Bank

You are owing someone money and the person brought Police to arrest you, this is what you should do.

At first, the police have no legal authority to arrest you for a simple debt, as it is a civil matter and not a criminal offense. According to the Police Act 2020 and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), the police are strictly prohibited from interfering in civil disputes or acting as debt collectors

Meaning that, the Police officer the person brought to arrest you, is on illegal duty and is on a mission to perform illegal arrest.

So at this point.

1. Ask the Police officer for his ID and take note of his name

2. Calmly tell the officer it's a civil matter

3. If the officer insist on arresting you, don't resist the arrest. Follow him

4. If they ask you to sign any undertaking of when you will pay back, sign it

That undertaking is not enforceable anywhere, so no fear at all

Once you are out

File a suit against the person you owe and the Police Officer for breach of your fundamental human right and illegal arrest with unlawful detention

In the suit, demand for damages of 50 Million Naira

The Hymen and Other Heavy Myths: A Small Tissue, a Large Silence

As a gynaecologist, let me speak gently, and slowly, and clearly about the hymen, because this small, shy fold of tissue has been forced to carry a suitcase far heavier than it deserves, and because too many hearts have cracked under the weight of a myth dressed up as biology.

First, let us be firm and tender at the same time: on no account should any girl or woman be subjected to a so-called “virginity test.” There is no medical test that can prove virginity. None. And any healthcare provider who claims to diagnose virginity by peering at the hymen is not practicing medicine, except in the narrow and painful situations of suspected child abuse or sexual assault where injury must be assessed. Virginity is not an anatomical finding, it is a social invention. The body does not keep receipts of first times. The body does not run a guest book of who entered and when.

Many men imagine the hymen as a stubborn door, sealed and waiting for a heroic knock. They picture what medicine calls an imperforate hymena hymen with no opening at all, and they imagine it as the standard design. But this is rare. Very rare. And when it happens, it announces itself loudly: the girl will not menstruate, blood will collect inside, pain will rise like an unanswered question, and she will need a simple surgical opening. This is not purity. This is pathology. This is not a moral story. It is a medical one.
In truth, the hymen is a democracy of shapes. Some are ring-shaped, and some look like lace, and some have a band across them, and some are wide and elastic from the beginning. These differences are as ordinary as different noses and different ears and different laughs. The hymen is not a gate that opens once and collapses in shame. It is a thin rim of tissue at the vaginal entrance, and nothing more dramatic than that.

And time, that patient sculptor, reshapes it. Sports and cycling and dancing and gymnastics and tampons and the simple choreography of daily life can stretch and thin the hymen without any sexual story attached. So when a woman has sex for the first time and there is no blood, it is not evidence of deceit. It is evidence of anatomy behaving like anatomy: flexible, responsive, alive.

Bleeding at first intercourse often comes from fear, from dryness, from hurriedness, from force, not from a mythical seal being broken like a red ribbon at a ceremony. With arousal, and patience, and consent, and lubrication, the vagina opens as it was designed to open, and sometimes there is no blood at all. A virgin may not bleed at her sexual debut, and this is not scandalous. It is medical. Men, please, do not turn blood into a lie detector. It is not one. Blood is a fluid, not a confession.

So let us pass on this knowledge gently, and stubbornly, and with love. To men, I say: trust science and unlearn folklore. To women, I say: your body is not on trial. Your anatomy does not owe anyone evidence. Your worth is not hidden in a fold of tissue. And your truth does not need to bleed in order to be believed.

Thirty-two Cameroonian nationals who were apprehended in an apartment in Nigeria's Ogun state have been repatriated to Cameroon.

Their repatriation was facilitated by well-wishers and collaborative efforts from Cameroonian nationals residing in Nigeria, including Pastor Tanyu , the Nigerian Police and Nigerian Customs department.

Notably, some individuals resisted repatriation, opting to remain in Nigeria despite facing dire living conditions.

Investigations revealed that over 15 people were crammed into the small apartment under Qnet sc@mmers.

Over 45 of them were apprehended in January by the Ogun State Police command.

Qnet is a job scam network where people are lured into another country for a job opportunity.

The Qnet are being run by Cameroonians living in different countries.

Justice Binta Nyako would have been the one to sentence Nnamdi Kanu. She might have pitied him and sentenced him to something like 20 years in prison instead, but he tried to bully her and demand they change her, alleging that she was partial in her judgement.

They gave the case to a judge from a region that cannot be bullied in person of Justice James Omotosho a Yoruba man. Baba gave the werey life imprisonment.

I asked one of my friends who is a herbalist to check Nnamdi Kanu’s glory and how long he will live on earth. He told me Kanu’s destiny from heaven is 150 years. Kanu is currently 58, which means he will spend 92 years in prison.

A well deserved punishment for a criminal 🤣🤣
