It's been years since I had Sibelius but I don't remember it having issues or slowing down etc when working on big pieces (15+ instruments, 100+ pages). Musescore is getting slow on the other hand and my computer shouldn't be the problem. Any Sibelius users out there to confirm?
@JasperDommett I've been studying this for a while now and hopefully I can publish the results by the end of the year. It's quite a random thing, but I do see some things which repeat over and over again.
