Today NYRR filed suit against NYCRuns for trademark infringement of its Brooklyn Half® and Brooklyn Half Marathon marks. The suit asks that NYCRuns stop confusing runners by promoting NYCRuns’ Brooklyn-based half marathon using NYRR’s trademark, which NYRR has used since 1981.
