Today, the T.N. Onodingene Family of Abor, Udi LGA, Enugu State, made this facility available for free to serve as one of the 2027 South East Mathematics Olympiad Preparatory Centre and also one of the official examination venues.

The facility features a 60-computer CBT centre, 24/7 internet access, a physical library, an 80-seat conference hall, and three dedicated workstations.

Students from any part of the country are welcome to use the facility free of charge.

This is the kind of investment in education that transforms lives and creates opportunities for generations to come.

We hope to see more families, individuals, organizations, and communities make similar contributions across the South East and beyond.

Senator Ayoola Adeleke, Davido's grandfather was a prominent politician from Ede, Osun State, and served as a senator during Nigeria's Second Republic.
He was married twice. His best-known and second wife was Mrs. Nnena Esther Adeleke (née Akparah), an Igbo Christian from Akwete, Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.

Mrs. Esther Adeleke was the mother of several prominent members of the Adeleke family, including:

1. Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke – the first elected civilian Governor of Osun State.
2. Ademola Adeleke – the current Governor of Osun State.
3. Adedeji Adeleke – billionaire businessman and founder of Adeleke University, as well as the father of musician Davido.

Their marriage was often cited as an example of inter-ethnic harmony.

The Igbo have a saying that "Uzọdimma a ga ya ugboro abuọ" meaning If the road is good, you will go through it again and again.

Thus, the current governor of Ọsun State took a wife from South East.
Similarly, Davido, grandchild to Senator Ayoola Adeleke also took a wife, Choma from South East.

Successful people don't do tribalism.

Marry from anywhere in the world so long as you find peace there.

4. Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad – She won a silver medal in the 2019 edition.

5. South African Mathematics Olympiad – She earned medals for her outstanding performances.

This 15-year-old boy, Bassey Stephen Etim, won today's Sterling Bank Online National Mathematics Quiz.

He is currently an SS2 student at Dority International Secondary School, Aba, Abia State.

He outperformed every other student who participated from across the country.

At Sam Mbakwe airport Owerri, a billboard has been put up for our star boy, Egejurum Onyedikachi, to celebrate him as he arrived in Owerri today.

He is 11 years old and the world’s best in the Primary category for Mathematics.

He is so good that he finished the exam and fell asleep.

Stella Chinelo Emelife 🇳🇬 graduated as the Best MSc Chemistry student at the University of Mysore, India 🇮🇳, winning 20 Gold Medals, 5 cash prizes, and a university scholarship.

That claim is completely false.

This is the full live stream of the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad Grand Finale, where the winners emerged. Our selection process was conducted publicly because we believe transparency is the best way to protect integrity.

We deliberately stream our competitions live so everyone can see how winners are determined. Our goal is simple: ensure that the right children win based on merit, not ethnicity, religion, connections or influence.

The Ministry of Education has now contacted the National Mathematical Centre to request that it submit all national Olympiad competitions it organizes.

They want to start sponsoring all of them to the international finals now.

They have started contacting schools already.

This was abandoned in 2019.

I hope they don’t politicize it.

Our children need to shine on global stages.
