We sat at the feet of the Lord Jesus over the past seven days, and His ministry has been exalted and magnified before our very eyes. We now have a lot more reason to continually hope in Him as both Healer and Savior of our souls.

Heaven’s roar meets earth’s cheers as joyful sounds fill the atmosphere. There is great rejoicing over a life that has been well spent for God’s will; a life spent in absolute surrender to God’s purpose and intent; a testament to God’s divine mercy, shown as a witness and example for the obedience of many.

Daddy, thank you for obeying God and living for the fulfillment of His purpose. You have become a bearer of an eternal burden that your will could not have chosen, a captive of the bonds that God’s eternal counsel wove for you.

Thank you for defying the hope of vanity that many have lived for. Through your selfless heart of submission, many have found a hope that transcends this present world. You have indeed laboured tirelessly, day and night, to bring to light the good riches of God’s knowledge that have hitherto been concealed from men.

You have withstood contradictions and buffeting from men and spirits for the same truth the Apostles of old stood for. You are, to us all, a mighty covering from the winds and storms of perversion that seek to sway men and keep many in the bondage of darkness. As a good shepherd under the Great Shepherd, you have hazarded your life to feed the flock of God and keep it from ravenous wolves.

Our prayer for you this day is that Heaven will again cause you to ascend into everlasting realms. May the High Priest of good things to come show unto you again the things that are of the Father and of God. May grace and peace be multiplied unto you in His knowledge again, that you may be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless.

May you be clothed with new garments worthy of the next allocation of your calling. May there be no promise left unfulfilled concerning the rest that Heaven has ordained for you. May He who has helped you to walk in His path and stand in His will, also cause you to sit in His throne with Him. Amen.
