Why do free willers always run away when asked to show some differences between the language of the whole earth that God has cursed at Babel and Jesus Christ, the Word/Language of God?
It is because they genuinely think that antiChrist, Satan and Jesus Christ/God all speak the same language. They think the language of Babel and it's characteristics is the only language in total reality. ..which is the unforgivable sin.
Mrk 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mrk 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Mrk 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
@eri89494@DineshDSouza Not uneducated according to the world. Not saved, not born from above in Christ Jesus: still has the mind God confounded at Babel.
The Ellis/D’Souza objection collapses because it assumes, without argument, that divine love must be uniform, non‑elective, and obligatorily maximal toward every human creature. That assumption is never defended; it is simply presupposed. Once presupposed, any doctrine of election becomes “monstrous” by definitional fiat. The argument therefore commits the elementary logical error of smuggling the conclusion into the premise.
Second, the objection equivocates on the term love. It treats love as a distributive attribute—something God must parcel out identically to all—rather than as a covenantal mode of divine self‑giving. In Scripture, divine love is architecturally differentiated: Israel is loved in a way Egypt is not; the church is loved in a way the world is not; the Son is loved in a way no creature ever will be. To insist that elective mercy is a defect is to insist that the biblical pattern itself is defective. The argument therefore fails at the level of textual ontology.
Third, the objection assumes that mercy is something God owes to creatures simply by virtue of their creaturehood. But mercy, by definition, is non‑obligatory. To treat mercy as an entitlement is to destroy the category. The critique thus commits a category error: it treats grace as debt. Once grace becomes debt, the entire Pauline structure collapses.
Fourth, the objection treats divine freedom as morally suspect. If God is free to differentiate, they conclude He is unjust. But that conclusion only follows if one assumes that justice requires equal outcomes rather than righteous action. That is not a biblical definition of justice; it is a modern egalitarian one. The argument therefore imports a foreign moral framework and then condemns Calvinism for not conforming to it.
Finally, the rhetoric of “God makes defective humans” is not an argument but a projection. It presupposes that human fallenness is a divine manufacturing flaw rather than a covenantal rupture. That is not Calvinism; that is not Arminianism; that is not historic Christianity. It is simply a category mistake: confusing ontology with covenant history.
In sum, the critique is not a refutation of Calvinism. It is a refutation of a theological system the critics have invented by assuming their conclusion, redefining biblical categories, and importing alien moral axioms. It is structurally invalid from the first premise.

Witness for yourself the anger Cain has that he is not free from God to sin when he wants, how much he wants, and as often as he wants...outside God controlling you every step of the way..
in your sin.
God's Sovereighn over Cain just makes him so angry that he cannot even sin free from God.
The antithesis....justifies the Truth.
Calvinists do preach a different gospel than free willers. Calvinists can't do the false gospel of free will. God prevents us. Calvinism is in truth faith in Jesus Christ given by God. To be born again by hearing the Word of God, not by " decision for Jesus" or "Baptismal Regeneration" is to be a Calvinist. Lots of newly born Christians don't know they are Calvinists. So what?
@pfsez You can't walk in a spirit you don't have. You obviously don't have the Holy Spirit because God says:
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
..and because the new creature in Christ is spirit, not flesh. Sin still dwells in the flesh as a living spirit. God's curse is on it.
Rom 7:19 For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do.
Rom 7:20 But if what *I* do not will, this I practise,👉 it is no longer *I* that do it, but the sin that dwells in me.👈
Rom 7:21 I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there.
@legacycorvin Rev 21:4 And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.
@legacycorvin Because death hasn't been killed yet.
Rev 20:14 and death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.
@realJennaEllis@DineshDSouza ..and it's always the free willers who do emotional solidarity with the damned. No one said they themselves are damned, they raised their hand to tell God their heart is wiser than His .
@5Solas Dinesh , without free will is taking old lies and trying to freshen them up as if they were new. As all the other free willers, he will stoop to any lie and any twist in his quest to appear scholarly and relevant, then act as if he were kidding.
Because of the witness of the Holy Spirit nonmetaphorically within us . You telegraph you don't really believe in the Holy Spirit and that you are your own witness, which God strict forbids.
Isa 44:9 They that form a graven image are all of them vanity, and their delectable things are of no profit; and they are their own witnesses: they see not, nor know; —that they may be ashamed.
"The ability to reject a gift does not turn the acceptance of the gift into something earned or achieved."
Sure it does and all your illustrations don't change that. Free willers always need a halfway grace: one that takes them from a state of can't choose to merely one in which they can. They don't care the very language of their gospel is the language God cursed at Babel. All they want to do is just keep saying "you've got free will!". No matter what. They can't blame for 10000 different things you supposedly did if you don't have free will.
In the end, their whole inability to understand grace was a bluff. They know they just lie. The whole free will gambit is a political ideology that sets friend and neighbor against each other: gotta look out for the supposed autonomous actions of billions of creatures because according to them, God is NOT in charge of everything all the time but has left the random doings of free willers in charge of the experiences hurtling toward you. ..but He promises to react to them and continually save you if you so choose .
Leftist politics starts and ends with the lie of free will. They continuously attack you because you supposedly "used your free will incorrectly" and it's all your fault. They have tried for centuries to weave that fear of neighbors and friends into pop religion and have succeeded to some degree among non Christians. Instead of calling each other "comrade" they say "My brother in Christ".
Free willers: language is a will neutral, non-living, nonsentient communication ability that leaves us with free will before, during and after the communication event. The purpose of language is to deliver will neutral / harmless information.
Jesus Christ: Jhn 6:63 It is the Spirit which quickens, the flesh profits nothing: the words which I have spoken unto you are spirit and are life.
@realJennaEllis@HwsEleutheroi@DineshDSouza No doctrine. No Scripture. Just another post against "Calvinism". Like the Romanists making jokes up against "Protestantism".
At the end of the day, the lie of free will is an attempt, not in free will, to weave fear of one's neighbors, friends and foreigners into pop religion as a replacement for the fear of God. All the talk is centered on "your" free will, but elephant in the room is that supposedly, the collective of other people's free will is infinitly larger and more powerful than "your" own.
The common sense is then to fear each one and see life as a constant will vs will contest: to suspect one's friend and neighbor, to have an evil eye on everything and never to fear God alone .
The hatred against Calvinism is a political hatred. Calvinism makes new creatures in Jesus Christ who fear God alone without free will while free willism can't. A population of people who fear God alone can't be turned against each other. When good and bad things happen, Calvinists know our friends and neighbors are just as powerless as we are before God and in life and it makes no sense to blame them other than in the specific ways God has Spoken.
Without a population of people waiting breathlessly to blame another target amongst themselves there is peace that Satan hates .
Pro 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Psa 19:9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:
Psa 19:10 They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb
