@Debra_XLR8 That is wonderful news sister! I do pray for you and your family often (just this morning in fact) and I so appreciate you! The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation and I will definitely keep up the prayers for you and Teri!
@RetroChristians@SKokenos Who baptized him?
Acts 22:12 (KJV) And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
*Saul had not yet received his gospel according to the mystery kept secret since the world began (Rom 16:25).
@JohnPiper Keep going…
Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
*Christ must be preached according to the revelation of the mystery given to Paul.
After Christ’s ascension, the glorified Lord revealed to Paul a mystery previously kept secret.
Does God keep secrets? Yes, He does.
If that makes you uncomfortable in any way, further research is needed on your part:

What would have happened if the nation #Israel, including its leaders, had recognized and accepted #Jesus as their prophesied Messiah (Christ) roughly 2,000 years ago?
Answer:
The apostle Paul, and only the apostle Paul, wrote the following:
“If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:”
Eph 3:2
It was given to Paul, not Peter, James, John, or the 12.
“By revelation he made known unto me the mystery…”
Eph 3:3
Do you know what the "mystery" is and do you recognize that it was given by revelation to the apostle Paul exclusively?
“Which in other ages was not made known…”
Eph 3:5
That "other ages" includes Jesus' earthly ministry. The 12 had no understanding of the doctrine provided to the apostle Paul. That is why Paul's gospel had to be EXPLAINED to the 12 in Acts 15.
If something was not made known in other ages, then failing to distinguish it from what came before does not protect unity ... it destroys clarity.
Distinctions must be recognized and honored!

@joshwhitlatch@garrettham_esq Why can’t you answer what I reply with? Your theology is not ancient, it’s not biblical, and it’s not correct. You should be open to such correction. You’ll be a better student of God’s word because of it.
The apostle Paul states:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable…”
2 Tim 3:16
Paul also says:
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Tim 2:15
Those truths do not conflict.
Profitability does not erase placement.
All Scripture is FOR us.
Not all Scripture is TO us doctrinally in the same way.
Distinction is not reduction...

Right Division is often criticized by those who view it as unnecessary, divisive, overly technical, or even dangerous. Yet most objections to #RightDivision arise not because the doctrine is weak or incorrect, but because the implications that come with forsaking traditions, false teachings, and one's "position" in life are too much to honestly pursue.

@BaptistBen316 Israel is currently fallen and blind, and now the same grace is offered to all, Jew and gentile, yet God has promised them a glorious future and, as much as you hate it, he will deliver what he has promised.
@BaptistBen316 At that time there was still a remnant of believing Israel that God (and Paul) distinguished from the body of Christ where there is no Jew or gentile. Israel is now in blindness but “the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” and all Israel will still be saved.
