Well thanks to @BritishGas we are without heating and hot water for yet another day.
#our 3 month old boiler was wired in by an @BritishGas cowboy who thought the life of my family was worth rushing his job for!
Today’s emergency appointment was cancelled by @BritishGas!
In just over 4 months I will be taking part in the Great South Run.
This year I’m raising funds for Brain Tumour Research in memory of two friends who have succumbed in recent years.
Anything you can give will be appreciated.

The Wiltshire Army Cadet Force 35A team finishing the 35mile Ten Tors Challenge at 11:07.
The Commandant, Ten Tor CFAVs and parents were all there to great them at the finish line.
The whole county are immensely proud of your achievements

@QM_Devon @ColCadetsACF Is there a chart/list available? I know a few cdts/CFAV who have the nearest size combination possible rather than the size they actually need…
The sizes for MTP PCS have been updated, there is now a greater range (36 sizes of each) in both Trousers & Shirts.
Good news for our smaller Cadets in ill fitting (large) uniforms👌🏼
We are trying to put on a celebration dinner for Sword Coy Cdts, but our usual contact is unable to loan us crockery or cutlery.
Does anyone here know of suppliers I could contact, or where we could acquire plates, glasses, bowls, cutlery for c75 people to cater a 3 course meal?
Great visit today to see Wiltshire ACF who are on summer camp in Sussex. The Cadets were really engaged in a varied range of activities. Many thanks to the Officers and Adults who do so much to Inspire to Achieve. @WiltsACF@WiltsLieutenant@RWiltsYeo@WRFCA@ArmyCadetsUK
First Aid a Work (FAW)
Over the weekend 11 Cadets and CFAVs attended a 3-day FAW course at our HQ.
"They have worked hard and taken a lot of info in, but it has paid off as everyone has passed. Congratulations everyone" Capt Mandy Calaz, County First Aid Training Officer
Wiltshire ACF prides itself as being a family, well in our household that really holds true, and we supply our very own fire team.
Myself - RSMI
Wife - CSM
Eldest daughter and son are both Detachment instructors.
Even Eric has been known to help out on Nav.
Congratulations go to our newly promoted Detachment Commander of Calne, who was presented her Staff Sergeant (SSI), by Colonel Haggerty tonight.
Great achievement & much deserved
@readinghalf - despite running the race (with bib/chip) & there being photos of me on the course & approaching the finish line. Apparently I don’t get to have a finish time. Very disheartened & deflated after I’d set a PB today!
