Instead of fighting to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic that has killed over 242,000 Americans, the Trump administration is spending its final days in office fighting a bogus voter "fraud" problem that does not exist. Pathetic. The Biden-Harris Administration cannot come soon enough.
America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.
The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.
I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.
Old enough to remember when 2,100 people died on 9/11 and the country came to a standstill.
Now 1,400 people die a day and it’s business as usual?
Who are we.
No, Mr. President. We're not delaying the election. The American people are sick and tired of your authoritarianism, your lies, your racism. On November 3, 2020 democracy will prevail and your disastrous presidency will end. Bye-bye.
When you’re in an ICU intubated because of #covid19 your political affiliation won’t matter. Let’s drop our political biases and fight this virus together. 🤝⛑🙏🏼
What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I’ve seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there’s a place for us all. We must remember it’s not my America or your America. It’s our America.
100 years ago today, Wisconsin became the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment. It's a milestone to be proud of, but there is important work we still have yet to do for equity, equality, and the inclusion of all women across our state. #WomensVote100
SCIENTISTS: “We’ve produced the first-ever image of a supermassive Black Hole, 55-million light years away”
RESPONSE: “Oooh!”
SCIENTISTS: “We’ve concluded that humans are catastrophically warming Earth”
RESPONSE: “That conflicts with what I want to be true, so it must be false”
We’ve seen a horrific number of school shootings — from Sandy Hook to Parkland — and the devastating impact losing classmates can have on students. For the sake of our children, we need reasonable gun safety reforms. Now.
We must look at climate change as if it were a devastating military attack against the United States and the entire planet. And we must respond accordingly.
As we enter the new year let us not forget that while the very rich become much richer, millions of Americans are unable to afford health care, housing, prescription drugs or education. In 2019 we can do better. We must do better.
What's happening in Wisconsin is straight up voter suppression.
Republicans are changing the rules on voters because they didn't win.
Speak out and stand up. I believe that we will win. 💪🏾 🇺🇸
Happy 2018! I normally don't make resolutions, but how’s this? Let’s all tell the truth, treat everyone equally, be kind to all people and animals, and offer the planet respect. Starting… now.
