🦞Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

👉The most important rule of making biscuits is to not over mix the dough.

FOR THE BISCUITS:
4 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese (about 1 cup shredded)
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 cups all-purpose flours
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder

FOR THE GARLIC BUTTER:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick unsalted butter
(you could also use salted butter, just omit the kosher salt)
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1. College is mostly a scam

I’m glad I went to college, because I wanted to work on Wall Street. But today, I wouldn’t waste $300,000 on it, and I wouldn’t want to work in banking. Instead, I’d load up on college credits during high school, go to a school like the University of Texas to have fun, graduate in 3 years debt-free, and travel around the world for a year.
