I asked my students during their remote work time to send me an email. I gave them a @Screencastify video to watch that I had made. I still need to teach them the fundamentals of emailing. But, honestly what a great way to end the week. I enjoyed reading and responding to them.
@quizizz When my students see their results after finishing a quiz, they are often motivated to either redo it if they are not happy with their results or feel a sense of accomplishment for demonstrating mastery.
Having my students create equations that work and don't work for different solutions and then using them to create a math game based on Fruit ninja. @NatickSummer https://t.co/8r4mcIKl8j
What kind of teacher are you? Thinking about this today as I begin to plan for a workshop I’m facilitating at @westernuEdu this fall. Going to pose this question to teacher candidates. Via @gcouros. cc @MlleRLH #InnovatorsMindset
Super excited to be presenting tomorrow for ConVAL about something I'm super passionate about- using technology to differentiate in the math classroom. @cvhs_hzrzavy@WeAreConVal
@gcouros How you approach your administrator is key. Think about as a teacher how you would like to be given feedback. I think the relationship between the teacher and administrator is key in how the administrator is going to take any feedback. Its important to be honest but tactful!
