Personally, I think we should be okay with having a great conversation with a stranger and leaving it at that. Exchanging contacts isn’t always necessary. One of the beautiful things in life is being able to remember a good conversation with a random person and move on.
Sorry no, the problem isn't the diversity of what is played in tournaments.
The problem is that politicians undermine the development of national sports leagues for football, rugby, hockey and volleyball. They campaign to be managers of the Football Federation Kenya so that they launch their careers in politics, instead of growing the sport so that our young people can earn a living from playing. Instead they organize small tournaments named after themselves so that the players never leave the county and outshine the local politician.
Politicians also have this bad habit of sponsoring prizes and tournaments but never what young people need to play well, like salaries, coaches, tournaments, permanent training grounds, etc. There is no group of people as mediocre in Kenya as Kenyan politicians. Their work is to ensure that few Kenyans grow and excel in anything except a few who won't outshine them.
This is it. Don’t disqualify yourself by thinking you’re not good enough. Put in the application and let them decide. You miss 100% of the chances you never take. Let rejection come from them, not from you.
Every day: fund this, tax that, deduct them, scandal here, tutatenga there, millions lost.
Never: lowered fees for doing business, education funds doubled, triple increase in research funded by govt, research output informs policy, jailed for stealing billions.
We are in hell.
Ata huku si ati they hide their classism, hiyo ya mlango imewauma juu majority of them believed they were too high up to be on the receiving end of classism .

I've never been obsessed to belong to a "distinct" Kenyan identity.
I wouldn't really care if we got named terms like "colonial construct", "cultureless" etc. As long as we get the basics right first i.e. economy, alleviate poverty, healthcare, clean water, functional cities etc
Bro nobody ever steps into CBD and feels like "I wanna have a good time here".
Everytime you step in there the first thing that goes in your mind is "Heavens, get me the hell out of this war stricken looking shithole".
So because my data belongs to me the US should talk to me directly if they want access.. So why did you sign an agreement and it's not your data?? And why are you being paid and not me
MP salaries in Kenya operate on a different physics.
Hospitals can be starved, counties can be crippled, schools can run on fumes, stalled projects can gather dust but the salaries of our chronically underperforming MPs remain the one sacred cow of this republic. Not even God delays their pay, let alone the Treasury.
If you’re living abroad and you’re able to stay fit, you’re very disciplined.
Because food is just a lot!
You can have 99 problems, food can never be among.
