It continues to amaze me that so many in Houston think the Texans could get back the Oilers colors, name and uniforms. It can't happen. The Texans don't want them. Nobody will ever be able to get them because the NFL - and the Titans - have a legal document explaining it.

There was talk early on that Robert Saleh, had he gotten another head coaching opportunity, wanted to take Mike McDaniel with him as offensive coordinator, I'm told.

The two worked together in San Francisco.

We'll see if that happens.
