@jackrwilkie Based NASB 95:
And he took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid HIM in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had ever lain. - Luke 23:53
(I know it's an interpretive translation, but it's right)
@jackrwilkie The hand-wringers browbeat the air in front of them and just ask why we can't do this in private, where the conservative networks are eviscerating their "brethren" in locked rooms. I'm not one to throw around "abusive situation," but what else can you call this? (2/2)
@jackrwilkie The three slices of the pie are the accused, the accusers, and the hand-wringers. The accused get beaten down, lose their livelihoods, and are ousted from their faith communities. The accusers gain social clout, rabid followers, and (oops) financial incentives. (1/2)
