Domestic manufacturing is dominated by automation because of this. Very odd for Trump supporters to vote with inflation in mind considering how this will play out.

@RealJasonNelson @yneohp Ahh yes because economic competency says to shut down the economy for nearly 2 months (reducing supply) and send out stimulus checks at the same time (increasing demand). This was done under the time of the Trump administration and we’ve been trying to correct since then.

@SpeedScandal @FanLagann @yneohp Many companies importing from China are using transshipment to avoid tariffs already. As far as protecting from “undercutting US wages”, our manufacturing jobs are highly automated in the states. It’s already a struggle finding people that want to be employed in that sector here
