Our Green Field Day was a huge success, and we are grateful to everyone who made it possible!

We had the honor of hosting key stakeholders in the Nigerian wheat industry, our esteemed farmers, strategic partners, royal fathers, and religious leaders in Jigawa State.

At the 2025 Wheat Field Day in Dabi, Ringim Local Government, I shared some exciting news. This year, our farmers planted wheat on 80,000 hectares of land. Last year, it was 55,000. That’s a big leap! We’re getting closer to growing all the wheat we need by 2030.

By 2030, we want to plant 500,000 hectares. Sounds ambitious? We’re up for it. To help, we’re starting the Jigawa Farm Mechanization Company. We are bringing additional 300 tractors, 60 harvesters, and other tools to make their work easier and faster. We also want young people to join farming—it’s the future!

We’re giving farmers better seeds, reliable water access, fertilizers, and training they can actually use. Partnering with Flour Milling Association of Nigeria (@fmanng_) is helping us build a stronger wheat industry that lasts.

I’m truly grateful to the Federal Government (@NigeriaGov) and the Minister of Agriculture (@NGfmafs) for their strong support in boosting wheat production. Their efforts to improve food security and grow agriculture are making a real difference, not just in Jigawa but all over Nigeria.

Jigawa is leading the charge. With teamwork and the right tools, we’ll grow enough food *and* boost our economy.
