@racingoncourse Perhaps an * by York stating that includes Becky Hill in concert afterwards; which by current concert/theatre ticket pricing is an absolute bargain, hence a crowd of > 30,000 expected

Immense damage to horse racing has already been done by affordability checks.
There has been no proper evaluation of the pilots and it appears that they will be green-lighted by @GamRegGB with no Parliamentary debate or scrutiny.
The checks are directly contrary to the Government’s declared support for racing. So I urge @lisanandy to step in and revisit an ill-targeted policy which, after all, wasn’t the Government’s in the first place.

Regarding AML, affordability checks, and banks, are we sure these big corps, governments know what they are doing, within the last 15 yrs I would regularly turn up at the races with 20k in readies to give to an agent of BF, to give to them to credit account, now if you’d have said then this could be money laundering (it wasn’t) but now in 2026 where it’s completely traceable via banks deposits are restricted due to AML. Big corps are totally brain dead
