Meet Tlotlo Tsheka, a young storyteller who discovered the joy of reading and writing at an early age.
At just seven years old, she has already written and illustrated her own books, I Remember When and Mommy’s Secrets, inspiring other children to believe in the power of stories.
Tlotlo, a learner at Spark Witpoortjie, shared with Good Things Guy that she loves telling stories about what she sees and remembers:
"I have lots and lots of them in my brain. One day I told my mommy I wanted my own book, and she helped make it.”
She is supported by her mother, Thatohatsi, a Publishing Director and founder of Boss Generation Network, who is helping nurture her creativity and voice.
Young voices like Tlotlo’s remind us that when children are surrounded by books, imagination has no limits.
