My requests to @surface and @intel support: 1) if you're going to improve things, make it easy to turn it off! 2) Tell your support people what to look for if things aren't working. 3) @surface, think hard about removing this non-feature!
@surface I bought a Surface Pro 7+ at MEC NYC a week ago. Moved my Yeti microphone to the new system: it didn't work. Doesn't show up as a audio input. Works on older Surface Pro with Win10; works with Dell desktop with Win11. Saga ensued...
The details of making my Yeti work with Surface Pro 7+ and Windows 10 or 11 are here: https://t.co/BAdMro6JvB -- it's a bit too convoluted for a tweet. (4/)
Nice article from @nytimes emphases #Helium $HNT 🎈emphasizes practical utility. https://t.co/PNkXERCnsh #IoT#LoRaWAN#twithaca
We have hotspots in stock... post 1/2
The @HeltecOrg HT-M2808 @Helium🎈 $HNT Hotspot comes with a clean browser-based interface for local maintenance. Not all hotspots are created equal. US915 & AS923-1 units in stock now at MCCI (Ithaca NY), ship overnight, w/ real support. https://t.co/H53j25bIuj #LoRaWAN#IoT
@MiaLoveFLUX @MCCI@thethingsnyc@REMteam28@WeRadiateNY All true. We think some people will (all other things being equal) need more support than they'd get with eBay or distis using USDC. We'll see!
@MCCI @MiaLoveFLUX @thethingsnyc@REMteam28@WeRadiateNY ...Anyway, thanks again for opening the door for this explaination. Feel free to pound on my head any time! All the best, and happy $HNT mining!
@MCCI @MiaLoveFLUX @thethingsnyc@REMteam28@WeRadiateNY ...as elegant as they are, the Helium phone app and the on-boarding process are not for everybody. People who'd like to use the network to move data are likely to need training on the dashboard. These are all things MCCI is already doing for our corporate customers. (more)
@hardillb @adafruit I mean in the code. You have to scan the README a little to remove it from the code by changing a few things in the project config (Arduino) or PlatformIO compile options. Removing it saves quite a bit of code space.
