@JourneyMacro@nyunggai Galatians 3:7-8
Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”
@JourneyMacro@nyunggai Galatians 3:28-30
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
@HaroldSandersen@townsquareguest@RabbiShmuley Jesus doesn't "believe" in Judaism, he is God.
But even so modern Talmudic Judaism is a corruption and nothing like the religion practiced by the patriarchs.
@BenMFreeman Luke 23:4
Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no guilt in this man.”
And from 1 Thessalonians 2:14-17
For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews, who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out.
@bryan_johnson Death was defeated on the cross 2000 years ago, trust in Jesus and you will have eternal life.
Reject him and you will die, of that you can be sure.
@incognitusz@XwitterDX@Truth_matters20 Maybe you should actually read it in context next time, starting at Romans 3:1
Romans 3:8
And why not do evil that good may come? as some people slanderously charge us with saying. Their condemnation is just.
@aRoseIsBest@JeremyTate41@Sachinettiyil Actually that's Jesus that steps on the serpents head.
Genesis 3:15
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
@LeavingEgyptMin@IVMiles The Bible isn’t “anarchist political silence.” It gives civil laws (Exod 21–23), appoints judges & kings, and says governing authorities are instituted by God (Rom 13:1). Jesus pays taxes and tells us to render to Caesar. Doesn't really sound like anarchy.
@cityh_unter@TomiwaImmanuel Matthew 3:16-17
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
@DarlingtonOjobo@Catolicismooo Mary says in Luke 1:47 "My spirit rejoices in God my Savior" what exactly did she need saving from if she was sinless?
The Bible nowhere states Mary was sinless, only “favored” and “blessed.”
God has repeatedly shown He can dwell among sinful people without them being sinless.
@DarlingtonOjobo@Catolicismooo Why would Mary be free from sin? She was surely blessed and chosen for the greatest task but she was only human like the rest of us. Jesus said in Mark 10:18 "No one is good except God alone."
