@oldbay84 I agree. My daughter met the gifted standard here in our Ontario school board, but she's had the benefit of one-on-one time with me (I homeschooled her for a time) and I taught her Socratic style; that was beneficial, especially for math.#edchat

@MlleSalib That's true.. there are definitely pros to tech. But I do think children have a tendency to forgo human interaction in favour of their devices, so I'll likely restrict usage in my (eventual) class.
