Today, June 16, @CAPPAfrica had the honour of presenting a plaque of recognition to Hon. High Chief Bosun Osaloni, Chairman of Ado Local Government, for his bold and visionary move to declare Ado Ekiti a smoke-free city during the 2025 World No Tobacco Day.
We engaged with the Chairman and his high-powered team, including the Vice Chairperson, Heads of Departments, and key local officials, on the next steps toward institutionalising this declaration into a binding local edict or bylaw.
