Watch the pattern:
Trump now realizes he's fucked up with Canada.
He realizes the threats didn't work.
So now, as is his pattern, he start his usual BS.
1. Canada is begging for a deal = LIE
2. Everyone in Canada wants a deal = LIE
3. Force allies to negotiate for US
So the options were:
A) End the idiotic war and moronic tariffs that have driven up feed costs and closed markets for American cattlemen.
B) Give lower-quality foreign beef producers zero-tariff access to flood our markets for a political stunt.
Trump will always, always, ALWAYS pick the stupidest possible option.
So Minerva (Brazil) and/or JBS (Brazil) will sell cheaper beef to our supermarket chains, but there's a kicker: the supermarket chains aren't going to cut prices for consumers.
Whoops!

Trump promised to bring down the government’s debt.
Instead, it’s continued to grow, passing 100% of GDP and on track to exceed its WWII record in the next few years.
My @nytopinion Chart:
Trump predicted we'd make trillions off tariffs.
Now we're losing billions as companies claim refunds for tariffs SCOTUS ruled illegal.
American consumers, on the other hand, won't get any refunds for the higher prices they've paid for months.
My @nytopinion Chart:
Trump promised to balance the budget.
Musk projected $2 trillion in savings.
This year, the deficit grew by 18% — with $200 billion of that due to refunds of his illegal tariffs.

Ossoff baited Trump into this fight. He accused Trump of spending more time traveling with Natalie than doing his job. Every time the White House responds to a throwaway line in Ossoff's speech, it validates the attack against Trump. Good stuff.
