There’s a particular kind of joy I feel when I see someone graduate with a First Class and celebrate it without apology. Sometimes the feeling is so strong I want to empty my account just to join the celebration.
I used to think it was simply respect for the grind.. Then I realised it might also be because of how some badly-raised and bitter people have subjected mine to different attacks to make it feel like a no win. It gets treated it like an offence rather than an achievement. All in the name of their cultic and demonic politics.
So now, when I see someone else own theirs openly, I feel an almost protective excitement. I want them to have the unapologetic celebration of their hardwork, consistency, intelligence and brilliance. Sometimes I ask: could it be bitterness or it’s just me refusing to let excellence be made small.
I think it’s the latter!
