The Test Pitch at Headingley was another belter … it’s now the best pitch in the country … but the ground won’t host a Test until 2029 !!! That can’t be right … England would love to playing an Ashes Test in Leeds …
@ManUtd Let me guess . £8 for a can of warm beer , some bloke copying that scouse bloke but wearing a stone roses united top & murdering old United classics & singing take me home 20 times. Err I’ll give it a miss
This song has become a case study into how music is consumed. The power of choice has ended transcendent communal moments. Even if you hated Bryan Adams, Wet Wet Wet or even Gnarls Barkley, you couldn't ignore them. The question is, are we better off?
Many attempts have been made in recent years to bring together influential supporter groups that can prioritise the often underrepresented voice of Manchester United’s match going supporters.
The recent actions of Manchester United have finally achieved what those efforts could not: a unanimous, historic and unprecedented unification of @MU_ST , @TraMufc , @muyscofficial , @The__1958 , all Fans’ Forum representatives, more than 100 Official Supporters’ Clubs, Red News and United We Stand.
Earlier today, a message was sent to Manchester United emphasising full support for the Fans’ Forum’s recent letter relating to the premature suspension of Season Ticket Holders without required evidence.
In summary, we have reiterated the demands made by the FF (detailed below):
• Immediately halt the ongoing suspension process.
• Immediately retract all unproven suspensions.
• Confirm the current number of Season Tickets.
• Explain its apparent policy of reducing the number of Season Tickets.
• Confirm that all reclaimed Season Tickets are reissued as Season Tickets to supporters on the Season Ticket waiting list.
Once an official written response has been received from Manchester United, it will be shared in the interests of transparency and fairness. The potential consequences of the Club’s response will also be shared as soon as they have been confirmed.
Thomas Tuchel went for the same strategy as vs Mexico without, it seems, appreciating Argentina have the attacking ability to unpick a low block over 30mins. That is a pitiful way to exit the World Cup at this stage.
🚨🗣 Zlatan ibrahimovic reacting to Amad Di goal against Norway:
"For me, that's one of the best goals I have seen in this tournament, I wonder why the coach didn't start him"
"Norway won but, he deserves the man of the match for that performance, clearance off the line and a solo goal, he deserves more credit, Bravo to him.
This isn’t a proper World Cup. A proper World Cup is when you turn the telly on and there’s non-stop matches between 12noon and 10pm. This 1am rubbish isn’t proper.
In all my years following Scotland, one of the most hilarious and brilliant moments. Tartan Army take over Fenway Park post game singing "Super John McGinn" on repeat for over 45 minutes
Turns out sticking a back 4 on the team sheet and waffling on about some DNA doesn’t automatically improve performances or win you football matches. Who knew?
🚨🎙️ | Amad on the sacking of Ruben Amorim:
“It was a TOUGH topic. I was a bit sad because he’s the coach who gave me more visibility and more opportunities to play for Manchester United.
“I was VERY sad. I even sent him a message to thank him for everything he did for me, both in my life and especially in my career.
“I wished him good luck wherever he goes. It was a difficult moment for me, but I’m really focused on Ivory Coast and on this competition. I want to finish well here and try to win this AFCON.
“We had a very good relationship, almost like a father-and-son relationship. He understood me, gave me a lot of advice, and let me play freely. It’s very unfortunate, but that’s life. You have to adapt, that’s football.
“I wish him all the best in life and in his next club. My next focus is Ivory Coast. I have to give everything for the country.”

🚨PROTEST AT MANCHESTER UNITED
😡Fan group The 1958 planning demonstration at the Fulham game on Feb 1
🔴Group will demand the removal of the current ownership model
Jim Ratcliffe: “It isn't a light switch. You can't run a club like Manchester United on knee-jerk reactions to some journalist who goes off on one every week.
Ruben needs to demonstrate he is a great coach over three years” - October 2025
Can’t believe a word out of his mouth. Another Glazer
🚨🎙️ | Ruben Amorim:
"I came here to be the manager of Manchester United, not to be the coach.
"Every department, the scouting department, the sports director, needs to do their job. I will do my mine for 18 months and then we move on."
