Ahead of his Sunday night game vs. Baltimore, NFL MVP Josh Allen will wear the first of nine custom @NewEraCap hats designed by patients at Buffalo’s Oishei Children’s Hospital. After each home game, the “Director of Billustration” will have his hat auctioned off to support the Patricia Allen Fund. This week’s hat was designed by a five-year-old patient named Jaxson, and fans can start bidding at kickoff of the game at https://t.co/95EEU9xmZ0
Jim Harbaugh just BODIED Ryan Clark after he dissed Justin Herbert:
“Herbert’s carrying a franchise. Ryan? Carries a mic.”
🔥 “Riding shotgun on a defense Polamalu drove.”
Y’all agree with Harbaugh or nah?

Coast Guard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskan saved 165 lives in the Texas flash floods.
The 26-year-old, a former KPMG accountant, directed Army Blackhawk 60s and MH-65s to survivors and helped get them to safety, according to the New York Post.
“Ruskan spearheaded a high-risk rescue mission under the worst possible environmental conditions, which in the end saw 165 brought to safety,” the NYP reported.
“I’m just doing a job,” he told the NYP.
“This is what I signed up for, and I think that any single Coast Guard rescue swimmer or any single Coast Guard pilot, flight mechanic, whoever it may be, would have done the exact same thing in our situation.”
“That’s what we were asked to do and we’re gonna do it. Any one of us, if anyone else was on duty that day, they would have done the same thing as us.”
“We just happened to be the crew that got the case.”
I’m not big on identities, but I am extremely proud to be American. This is true every day, but especially today—I firmly believe this is the greatest country ever on Earth. The American miracle stands alone in world history.
I believe in techno-capitalism. We should encourage people to make tons of money and then also find ways to widely distribute wealth and share the compounding magic of capitalism. One doesn’t work without the other; you cannot raise the floor and not also raise the ceiling for very long.
The world should get richer every year through science and technology, but everyone has to be in the “up elevator”. I think the government usually does a worse job than markets, and so we need to encourage our culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. I also believe that education is critically important to keeping the American edge.
I believed this when I was 20, when I was 30, and now I am 40 and still believe it. The Democratic party seemed reasonably aligned with it when I was 20, losing the plot when I was 30, and completely to have moved somewhere else at this point. So now I am politically homeless. But that’s fine; I care much, much more about being American than any political party.
I’d rather hear from candidates about how they are going to make everyone have the stuff billionaires have instead of how they are going to eliminate billionaires.
The American experiment has always been messy. I am hopeful for another great 250 years. Happy 4th!
Tried to warn em about (not the weather) but the challenge of the atmosphere and crowd!
1st half offense
128 total yards
1-6 3rd down 0-2 4th down

It’s not these boys fault-just not ready for this! This game is unfortunately about to get ugly!
Aircraft are thirsty and burn lots of fuel, right?
Wrong.
The average fuel efficiency of air travel today is about 67 mpg per passenger. That makes it more fuel efficient than your drive to work. The best hit 100mpg/passenger.
How did aviation manage it?
A thread.
Its a good article, a few thoughts:
- I don't like monopolies, but why the sudden unease? The government buys all of its refueling tankers from Boeing, all of the main battle tanks from General Dynamics, all the aircraft carriers from Newport News shipbuilding, all of our air-to-air missiles from Raytheon. The government buys fighter jets from a duopoly that often provides reciprocal work-shares making them a monopoly. Historically, the government had no problem buying launch services from ULA and in fact had to be sued to prevent a continuation of that practice.
- If SpaceX acts like a monopolist, then they will increase prices to levels that naturally stimulate more competition or risk antitrust actions. However, If SpaceX does not act like a monopolist and the government is getting the best product for the lowest price through open competitions, then what is the problem? As tax payers, we should want the best product/service for the lowest price and delivered as quickly as possible. We probably should not punish the few companies that are actually exceeding expectations.
I would love to see the government breaking up the monopolies that actually harm the competitiveness of the nation by failing to innovative and consistently come in over-budget and behind schedule and therefor have an allergy to fixed price contracting.
I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.
I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.
Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.
HALF MARATHON COMPLETED! 3 hours forty, 13.1 miles (20KM) of sweat, tears and arse cramps. 12 months ago, I was suffering the worst mental health I’d ever had. I was more obese and doctor gave me a year to live if I didn’t do anything. MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS, you are never alone❤️
