@thebrunette24 Don’t forget to “accidentally” drop a few hundred marbles in the street. Can’t leave anything to chance or rely on that little fucker with the arrows…
@thebrunette24 Since he ran past you instead of stopping/asking for your ☎️ we must assume he’s visually impaired. Not many blind gods in Greek mythology so my money is on Tiresias, son of the nymph Chariclo and later transforming into a woman so you need to act fast (or maybe not, who knows?)
@canva Thank you. It isn't the outage I have an issue with (and certainly not the engineers). These things happen but an error message that doesn't even acknowledge the possibility the fault could be on your side is bad, blaming customers even worse. That's corporate gaslighting...
So clearly @canva is down and yet the error message makes it sound like it's my fault because I [checks notes] might have accidentally logged myself out or unplugged my internet connection without remembering. #Fail
You know you're getting old when two grannies look at you in a funny way after you ask the shop assistant for spray starch.
I mean, when did everyone stop starching their bed linens?
Why did no one tell me about the end of civilisation?
If we could just stop pretending we know better than Mother Nature...

Retailers are really missing a trick by stocking gloves only at the beginning of winter.
Some of us may have lost one or four pairs over the recent weeks…😳

@Jamie_TXS@RestIsPolitics Maybe, just maybe, Danish national security is more important to Danes than anything else.
Why isn’t the U.S. helping the Danes by not threatening to invade parts of Denmark’s territory?
We actually do; history is telling us. “Doctors, teachers, accountants will be next. Authoritarianism is as predictable as a Swiss train. It’s already later than you think.”
@40PercentGerman A lot of things must have gone wrong for you to be faced with that realisation so I’d say the pronunciation of ˈaɪ̯çˌhœʁnçən (phonetically, not sure that helps) would be the least of your worries. Merry Christmas 🎄
@thebrunette24 The bigger story is that there are obviously far more visually impaired people in the Wirral than previously thought. One for @Specsavers, me thinks...
The error is to think we can only be one. We can be many. I recently found this, from 2020. Still true.
Nationalism is a lie. You don't have to decide between Britain and Europe.
