@JeffBurton after running some races on iRacing, I thought you and the @NASCARonNBC crew could answer this question:
How often do drivers “hold back” at the beginning of a run to be faster later in that run? Is that something that happens at bigger tracks like Michigan?
Thanks!

A4: I’ve had to change my focus and my priorities. I can not be the same educator I was before the pandemic because 1) we’re still in a pandemic and 2) the world has changed. I’ve had to be OK with changing. #LeadLAP
@Kentuckyweather Thanks for always giving us the insight and the “behind the curtain” views when it comes to forecasting. We appreciate it. It keeps us informed. It keeps us prepared. It keeps us safe. Keep on!

We never really stop thinking of them as our students no matter how long ago they were in our class. So sad to see this notice today about one of my former students. https://t.co/34xFS7LPpF
Turnaround requires that at some point everyone involved must move beyond identifying the issues and problems and decide their role in solving them. Determination of what we value and are willing to do in any situation is fundamental to positive action.
@TheMikeBagley@PPistone It’s great to see NASCAR, a sport that has historically not garnered the same attention and recognition of stick-and-ball sports, is now leading the way with a strong examples of what other leagues & organizations can do.

When I tell people I don’t teach from the history textbook I usually get two responses. 1. “amen” 2. “why” Well, most history textbooks conveniently leave out stories like this. American history is for all Americans. @Bakari_Sellers#TulsaRaceMassacre

There are 3 expectations that set the professional tone for your school culture:
1) Be your Best, whatever your role, do your best
2) No Surprises. If something is wrong, I want to hear it from you, not the grapevine.
3) We support each other. We are a team, not competitors
As a teacher, I never wanted a student leaving class feeling defeated. As an admin, I never wanted a teacher leaving school feeling defeated. Be kind, available, & supportive.
