BPN Rwanda recently hosted a networking event, bringing together women entrepreneurs, a day of learning, reflection, and connection.

These women are part of the BPN Impala program under the #Grow2Scale Consortium in partnership with @MastercardFdn.

The morning began with a study visit to @ToddleCare, where alumna Ritah Uwera shared her entrepreneurial journey: the hurdles she faced, the support she received, and the lessons she carries forward. Her story resonated deeply, with many participants noting that their biggest takeaway was: “It’s okay to take a step back to make a big jump.”

Last week, alongside two of #Rwanda ’s leading women entrepreneurs @ritahuwera1 of @ToddleCare and Paradis Imfura of @woodhabitat we had the honour of sharing Rwanda’s remarkable story, one of resilience, transformation, and the extraordinary strides women are making in breaking barriers.

Under the theme “Thinking the unthinkable”, we spoke about how #Rwandan women are turning what was once unimaginable into reality, growing businesses from modest home backyards to international stages in under a decade.

This progress has been made possible thanks to Rwanda’s visionary and exemplary leadership, which continues to foster an environment where women can thrive.

As we mark the 31st commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, we do so with a deep sense of responsibility and solidarity. As rwandans, and as women, we are committed to uplifting one another and ensuring we build a future that truly leaves no one behind.
