@SvGReaper@WhiteHouse@NASA No tin or aluminum for me, I use parchment paper. 😉
I did find a good demo though of relative distance. https://t.co/CWqvUY54qE
Sometimes you watch something so simple that teaches you a huge amount. This is one of those videos. It about the current hot topic….the Moon, and it puts everything into perspective. This video makes clear something I didn’t know and demonstrates it in a simplistic but brilliant way that we can all relate to. The takeaway from it……space is beyond vast and we’re not even at step 1 of starting to explore it. #space #moon
@PInstinctx@WhiteHouse@NASA Good job, Will! What exactly would that tell about whether or not the two photos are at least statistically equivalent. Are they consistent. That’s what I’m after.
@WhiteHouse@NASA Everyone: I asked a question and I appreciate all the responses since I’m asking, not stating. Never stop learning and never stop questioning. Many thanks!

@Nursekatejohn@bennyjohnson I will always remember this post by @4SakenGhost
When Easter starts feeling routine just read this and praise God that the only begotten of the Father went anyway. https://t.co/JFwpZX8hwv
He Went Anyway
I didn’t make it to church today. No pews. No singing. No sunrise service. Just me and a quiet morning that didn’t feel very Easter like at first. I wasn’t even at home. I was somewhere unfamiliar, both in place and in mindset.
But the weight of the day still came.
I was scrolling through the usual Easter posts. Some were moving. Some felt like routine. Then I saw it again: He is risen. Three words that tend to get lost in repetition. But this time, something stopped me. Not in a loud or emotional way. More like a quiet conviction that settles in your chest and won’t move.
He went anyway.
He went knowing He’d be betrayed by the ones closest to Him. He went knowing He’d be beaten, mocked, and nailed to wood by people who had no idea who they were dealing with. He went knowing I’d still fall short. Knowing I’d still doubt. Knowing I wouldn’t even be in church on the day that remembers what He did.
But He went anyway.
That kind of love is hard to wrap your head around. Especially in a world where love is so often transactional. Where people walk away when things get hard. Jesus didn’t flinch. He didn’t negotiate. He took the full weight of my failure and said, “I’ll carry it.”
That’s not religion. That’s rescue.
I’ve spent enough years trying to manage my sin like a budget. Trying to balance the good and bad, hoping it all evens out. Easter reminds me that it doesn’t work that way. My account was overdrawn a long time ago. Jesus didn’t come to top it off. He came to pay it in full.
And not because I behaved. Not because I finally got it right.
Because He loves us. Not the filtered version. The real one. The you that struggles. The you that snaps at your kids or stays up late wondering if God still cares. That’s who He died for. And that’s who He rose to redeem.
You don’t need stained glass for that truth to hit. It can hit anywhere. It can find you in a quiet parking lot, or scrolling through your phone, or sitting in the stillness wondering if you missed it. You didn’t.
The tomb is still empty. That changes everything.
He went anyway. For me. For you. Not because we deserved it. Because He decided we were worth it.
If this met you where you are, share it. Somebody else might be out there wondering if Easter still matters when life feels far from holy.
It does.
I think I figured out the tech nasa no longer has and why they can’t go back to the lunar surface. This is mind blowing. They really did lose the tech to go back
@bennyjohnson Great observation:
“The modern “silent filibuster” protects obstruction from accountability. A talking filibuster does the opposite – it puts obstruction on display.”
