@beav1967 I think they should all be penaltys and then the crazy scenes in the box that we see at every corner would stop especially If you have your hands around someone to drag them down and aren’t even watching the ball. Where I agree with you is we need consistency which we don’t have
The @CricketSociety Autumn Awards Lunch. Lovely event as ever, Alec Stewart on fine form as Guest of Honour. On our table were @WallaseyCC Evertonians Dad (Rich) & lad (Oliver), leg-spinner Oliver having won Outstanding U16 Schoolboy award - smashing people.
Whirlwind of a week last week with Oliver winning the @CricketSociety Schoolboy cricketer of the year. A reward for his dedication and commitment to cricket over the last 10 years. Very proud moment for the family.
@beav1967 Definitely dodgy. Should be an apology incoming for this at very least. These VAR refs now have the ultimate power. To not even provide the ref with all the angles is nothing short of disgraceful. Like asking a Jury to convict someone when they have only heard from the defence.
@beav1967 By the way, I actually have some sympathy for the ref, as I have seen the angles of replays that his var corrupt bosses loaded him with. If I had been given just them to go on then I might have made the same decision. But I guess this just adds further fuel to your corrupt fire!
@OlooneyRay@BenColeyGolf Sadly Ray as you full well know, without the theatrics the penalty wouldn’t get given in the first place. That’s what the Premier league has encouraged forwards to do to win anything which is equally sad.
