@_baljot @BamaExpat Indian immigration to America pre-call center days was extremely limited and it did happen (supreme court cases where sikh dude tried to naturalize because he identified as white), but it wasn't that much. Therefore most Indian Americans today are 1.5 and 2nd generation.

@BamaExpat They never went thru any of the true civil rights racism and mostly landed here in the midst of early pre 9/11 era and post 9/11 era and try to get grouped in to the race olympics using Islamaphobia as its base, but they didn't go thru any of the real traumas that East Asians did
