It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of Officer Joseph Montgomery, following a motorcycle accident this morning.
He is a 13 year veteran of this department, and is survived by his wife and two kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Some students set off fireworks at Tolleson Union High School. Security staff confirmed this was in a boys locker room. Tolleson police responded and secured the campus along with the School Resource Officer. TUHS did not go into lockdown, campus operations are as usual.
It has come to the attention if TPD some citizens received calls claiming to be City of Tolleson and requesting information. City of Tolleson has not made any such calls. BEWARE IT IS A SCAM. If you feel you may be a victim please call TPD 623-936-7186
