Never in my life have I been prouder to be Australian than when I heard a pub full of people erupt into cheers after seeing a 10 year old Turkish boy crying in the crowd.
‘There’s a lot of journeys.. with many different meanings.. but with one purpose.’
Not just the @Socceroos
But Australia itself.
Which is to say, the same thing.
I took 1.7 million photos over 6 days to catch this photo of a commercial jet in front of the sun.
The moment it happened, TWO floating prominences were visible, making this not just my best aircraft transit photo, but one of the luckiest of my career! Videos of the transit 👇
Don’t like people wearing watermelon pins at your shitty medical conference?
Don’t care.
“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” makes you feel scared?
Don’t care.
Seeing Palestinian flags on university campuses upsets you?
Don’t care.
A student calling Israel an apartheid state hurts your little feelings?
Don’t care.
A doctor speaking publicly about Palestinian children being massacred feels “divisive” to you?
Fuck you.
People refusing to condemn Palestinian resistance makes you uneasy?
Don’t care.
Hearing the word “genocide” feels inflammatory to you?
Don’t care.
A keffiyeh in a workplace gives you a panic attack?
Don’t care.
“Globalise the intifada” sounds genocidal to you?
Don’t care.
People interrupting politicians feels disrespectful to you?
Don’t care.
You no longer being able to monopolise victimhood makes you angry?
Truly could not care less.
What I care about are the Palestinian children being burned alive.
The doctors being tortured.
The families erased under rubble.
The starvation.
The concentration camps.
The destruction of Gaza’s hospitals and universities and refugee camps and entire civilian infrastructure.
But for the nearly last 1,000 days and decades prior, Western institutions have demanded everyone stop and carefully tend to Jewish emotional discomfort instead.
Not Palestinian lives.
Not Palestinian suffering.
Not Palestinian speech.
Zionist discomfort.
Zionist fragility.
Zionist political sensitivity—elevated, enforced, and institutionalised across universities, hospitals, media outlets, professional associations, politicians, donors, and advocacy groups.
All working in sync to transform Zionist discomfort into institutional emergency.
While Palestinian suffering is rendered invisible.
While Palestinian speech is disciplined.
While Palestinian humanity is treated as negotiable.
That is the function of the Jewish Feelings Industrial Complex.
Not safety.
Not care.
Not protection.
Institutionalised Zionist emotional management at scale.
Fuck every single institution that constantly weaponizes “Jewish safety,” “Jewish discomfort,” and “Jewish feelings” to justify censorship, repression, career destruction, anti-Palestinian racism, and silence in the face of mass atrocity.
If a watermelon pin destabilises you more than the annihilation of Gaza, the problem is not the watermelon pin.
The problem is you.

David Attenborough turns 100 today.
Still can’t believe Sir David Attenborough casually pulled off one of the greatest dolly shots in cinematic history.
Celebrating the life of David Attenborough whilst simultaneously ignoring the message about climate collapse that the great man has been screaming at us for decades, sums up how deeply superficial we have become.

It does feel like if a group of Palestinians with machine guns broke into an Israeli school and shot a bunch of children, it would be breaking news in every outlet on earth…?
New Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar finally appeared as a guest on state television M1 for the first time ever. Here’s what he told the journalist.
“We will suspend this channel's news service. This isn't about me; I'm not seeking revenge. Our people deserve journalism that reflects the truth.”
“We will nationalize the assets given to businesspeople and foundations during the Orbán era.”
“The Mathias Corvinus Collegium Foundation, close to Orbán, was transferred 10% of MOL (oil company) and Gedeon Richter (pharmaceutical company) for free. We will take back these shares.”
“After 16 years of the Orbán era, 400,000 Hungarian children in this country are living in deep poverty.”
“President Sulyok is no longer the president of this country in my eyes or in the eyes of the people.”
(In response to the host asking about his meeting with Zelensky as a counterpoint) “I get your joke, and I even like it. But your references no longer carry any meaning.”
“According to you, Germany has collapsed, there's no internet there, people aren't even having sex. The Hungarian people were laughing at you.”
“It was said on this channel that even my young children won't talk to me, when in fact my children live with me.”
(When the host interrupted him) “No host in this studio ever dared to interrupt Hungary's most corrupt and most lying prime minister.”
(When asked about the legal basis for closing the news service) “For someone on this channel to accuse me of breaking the law looks like a thief accusing the police.”
Everytime I see new images of our Earth I keep thinking of this soviet anti-war poster by Boris Rogachevsky that says "There's no other home!"
I think it's really sweet
They tried again and they failed again. No, I’m not talking about the decades of repeatedly failed genocidal attempts to wipe out the Palestinians, but rather the ludicrous and pathetic attempts by FSV Mainz 05 to yet again appeal against their loss of my case in the German courts only to lose again.
Today, the German courts dismissed the latest appeal from FSV Mainz 05 which affirms the earlier judgment ensuring justice was served with my resounding victory.
Time for the deluded decision makers at FSV Mainz 05 to give it a rest and pay up the remainder of my contract. Worthy causes supporting the children of Gaza await. That should give some solace to the executive team at FSV Mainz 05.

This huge #moth was spotted by our ecologist Ben Parkhurst during recent #monitoring at Hamelin Station Reserve. It's one seriously solid unit of #Lepidoptera. This moth is from the family Cossidae and likely the genus Endoxyla, which interestingly is the genus containing the heaviest moth species in the world, maxing out at 32g! Encounters like this are a reminder of just how much incredible life is quietly thriving on our reserves. 💚
