Victim of a Bookspry promotion that is sucking, yet he welcomes one and all to reality, just the same.

He knows what frustration is, and he also knows what a vase is. But do the two go hand-in-hand?

Wrong categories on on Amazon? He knows a thing or two about that. It wasn't so very long ago that only one person had looked at his book series on Amazon, even though it's on Kindle Unlimited. Frustrating, indeed!

He has Mailer Lite, but has no idea what he's doing, where it is concerned. I know that feeling, but then again, I never invested much time in trying to learn how to use it. I wonder aloud whether he has ever given Sender a try. It's imperfect, but it does have a few things going for it.

He doesn't understand why people constantly ask for links to books, yet no one then seems to ever to go to his books, when he shares such links. The cads!

Some believe that the number thirteen is an unlucky number. Fancy, then, how Matthew Tompkins, wrote thirteen chapters for a story, only to then come to the realization that none of it makes sense. Can you say delete?

Yet, he picked himself up, dusted himself off, and set off down the literary road, anew. He's got grit. He's got gumption.

But what about that time that his entire manuscript was corrupted and he had to start over, again? Yet, rumor has it that he didn't scream.

Yeah, I grabbed a Kindle copy, just now. That won't fix his many travails, and it won't get him his Bookspry promotion expenditure back in his wallet, but perhaps it will provide a momentary oasis in his desert of tribulations.

That very sparsely populated blog of his, though, that's a crying shame. One post, two sentences. But hey, it's not like anyone's looking or gonna notice, right?

You just never truly know.
