Had the pleasure of going round to Bobby’s last year to hear his stories about his lifetime in football. A lovely guy who was well respected by everyone in the game. RIP
Very sad to hear this. Paddy spoke to me at length for two of my books. He was great to chat with. Insightful, helpful, encouraging, entertaining, he had no need to speak to me but was happy to do so. A great writer, he’s a great loss to football journalism.
