@AndyKerrtv@pokeefe1@NostalgicNUFC@MonacoRebooted Well there is in a way. Villa chose to spend 90%+ on wages, now they can’t spend on transfers. Blame the owners of Villa and Newcastle (who they themselves spent a load of money after the take over). Remember all clubs vote for these rules.
@pokeefe1@AndyKerrtv@NostalgicNUFC@MonacoRebooted Because that takes time and effort Paul, they aren’t interested in doing it in a sustainable way. They want to skew the league by spending whatever they want and sod the other teams. You’d think they would learn by how close Chelsea came to loosing it all with Ambramovich.
@mwt2008@WdgScotland@Ed_Miliband You clearly don’t know much about North Sea gas and how the operators work.
New technology is being used to extract more gas out of places that were capped. Huge new gas fields that could heat the uk for years are being found, but licenses are not being granted.
@AbinbevB@MatterallM@RyxAFC@xAlexTHFC@FabrizioRomano Suspended, pending the outcome of the police investigation.
Not hard is it? He’s attending training with children and women present. Arsenal should have a duty of care to everyone, not just the player because he cost them millions of pounds and the manager likes him.
@GaryHunter99 @pokeefe1@TomKenn68317365@Huk06 I assume you are trolling? I was bought up in Enfield, and supported Spurs since I was a young lad, I now travel from Norwich to watch a game. Should I not support Spurs anymore and switch to Norwich? Am I just a tourist? What a whopper.
@radhoo12 @Aaronj03sephW @st3vat Red cartel as well is a joke. Look how close Spurs have come, and think what could have happened if Chelsea and City wern’t cheating. Two teams that just injected money overnight with no sustainable growth. There are rules, play by them or sod off.
@radhoo12 @Aaronj03sephW @st3vat Genuinely interested in what you think would happen if there was no FFP? There would literally be City Chelsea Newcastle Villa and Utd spending as much as they could. You would effectively have 3 mini leagues in 1, in which teams from the Lowe tier each tier couldn’t compete.
@ODEONCinemas@ODEONCinemas advertised as £5, but when going to pay the only tickets available are £10 and that is what I’ve been charged? I have a video I can send as well..
@martinjunktion Because that’s too hard. They’d rather have their clubs sports washed and money spent, and then they’ll moan when it all goes to shit and complain nothing was done to prevent their club from going under, when a state regime drops them for a new toy.
@UkJon@pas5898@Lea_EFC Spend their money sports washing, which is clearly working with the Newcastle fan base, similar to City. Utds owners are parasites, no one should be allowed to take over a club a burden it with that sort of debt.
@therealbuotte @pas5898@Lea_EFC Well that’s the danger for not following the rules, you leave yourself exposed. The club only has itself to blame. They agreed to them and happy to compete in the league
@therealbuotte @pas5898@Lea_EFC Because that “small” club has spent well beyond its means and has artificially got its way to the top. How is it fair for clubs like Spurs, who follow the rules, grow the club organically using its own revenue, to then watch teams disregard the rules. That isn’t fair competition.
@pas5898@Lea_EFC .. it’s to also create “fair”
Competition. All these clubs signed up to the rules, don’t moan when you break them. Siding with City, who if they have their way, there won’t be any competition, is utter stupidity and short sited.
@pas5898@Lea_EFC I don’t think you understand why PSR and FFP were bought in. They are to protect clubs like Villa \ Newcastle \ Everton from when the owners get bored and the club can’t sustain itself. You have half the league abiding by the rules and the other half whining..
@David_Ornstein@mjshrimper@TheAthleticFC Will be crease when Chelsea sell all their assets to Bohely, still can’t make Europe, and struggle to meet rules they agreed to. The rules are there to protect against owners asset stripping and making it sustainable. So short sited celebrating this as a win.
@grahambyrne13@David_Ornstein@mjshrimper@TheAthleticFC Narrow minded fans will celebrate thinking their owners can buy club assets for hugely inflated fees, giving them short term gain. Problems happen later on when they have nothing else to sell and they are struggling to meet rules that they all agreed to, then cry about.
@LakhanJay@nxtepe@FabrizioRomano Haaland only scored 6 more goals than Kane, whilst playing for Man City. Spurs changed the manager 3 times and finished outside of Europe, whilst Man City won everything. Put Kane in that City side he would score more.
