Ok. Don’t normally listen to the people that try to ‘gate keep’ you. There are people that may comment on foul language, and in some cases it is sinful but NONE of us are guiltless of sin so any admonishment should come from a place of love. If it isn’t then the message does not come from God but from another place. I do believe in striving to reduce my profanity myself. I have had mixed success but 21 years in the Army, most of it as a nihilistic agnostic makes it difficult. Pray to the Lord for improvement but don’t worry if you slip. And don’t let the bullies get to you. I suspect they are sinning themselves without realizing it.
@JRM58506966 I have two Ar10s and two Ar15s. One of each are iron sights. The other has an eotech on it. The only advantage that I see is that I, personally, can get a shot on target a bit faster with the red dot. But shot groupings and overall accuracy is roughly the same.
@shoe0nhead@TRHLofficial Bimbo Fascism. Two words I never imagined being used together. Of course I don’t really associate either word with you either. Classical Liberal is more the word.
@FearHarvester@thereal_SnS Maybe. Brandishing a weapon and threatening to shoot multiple people would be considered a deadly threat for sure. At the same time you have better be stone cold sober and not have had a drop of alcohol in your system if you decide to pull a gun out in a bar.
Of course we would. And not just because she has big boobs. Yes we would notice that but we also notice other things.
She’s happy
She’s bubbly.
She seems to enjoy life.
She seems to be friendly.
She has positive energy.
She appears to be genuine.
Beauty is a lot more than physical appearance. Everyone takes off the makeup eventually. A beautiful person is someone that you enjoy being with and makes you feel like they enjoy being around you. It’s as simple as that. Physical appearance is part of it but we all met good looking but ugly people.
@RedTothy@ezradulis This is a misconception. I don’t know of a single RN that agrees with that. Even some of my more liberal coworkers were upset at those morons. But, unfortunately, loudest squeak is the one most noticed
There are some. Yes. But the problem is that idiots on the internet rarely represent the majority. It’s like the dancing nurses during COVID. These jack holes really p***ed me off because it sure as hell didn’t represent what I was doing in our ICU during the height of the pandemic. But some nurses essentially not having something to do because clinics were closed and surgeries canceled made it look like we were all partying.
@lporiginalg The foundation of a relationship isn’t attraction. It isn’t love. It isn’t shared or compatible beliefs. The foundation is trust. Trust is something that, once broken, is incredibly hard to get back. For many it is impossible.
@Deimos_Choiros@ezradulis Yeah. Artists are mirrors to the self enclosed, completely narcissistic world that they have created for themselves. The show supreme arrogance towards ‘flyover country’ but would struggle to get by a week in those areas.
Dimaggio had a 13 year career. So that comparison is a bit more difficult to quantify but yeah, he probably did see certain pitchers more often. Not my point. My point was that PCA has advantages offensively that Joe DiMaggio never had in the 1930s and 1940s. PCA also grew up playing baseball. It was his focus since childhood. DiMaggio grew up the son of an immigrant fisherman and had to deal with a father that wasn't happy about him not following into the family business. As I said before, I love PCA. I'm not diminishing anything he did or what he has accomplished. But I hate this whole, 'So and so wouldn't cut it in this league' crap. DiMaggio's career OPS was 977. AFter 13 years. And four years split that career he was gone in the US Army during WW2. So he was 37 when he retired. That means his OPS was probably much higher during his heyday. He would have been just fine in the Majors today.
@captain_queenan@USSpaceForce Im sure Hugo Boss would love a crack at designing a new uniform. I mean the last bunch they designed were the inspiration for the costumes in those films.
