These people saying they won't vote in November because their state is already blue should think a little harder. Like, you're unwilling to do something, so everybody else has to do it for you? That doesn't seem very radical to me, and it reeks of white privilege.

Part of the answer is due to our zoning & building codes, construction & educational practices
But there's another, perhaps more important reason
like the wistful ebbs and violent flows of a neverending and remorseless tide, once again the fate of America's states and commonwealths rests in the hands of everyone having the wherewithall to go and stand on a fucking line after working all day
this is like watching the whole school cheer on a ginormous bully as they beat a much weaker kid into a bloody pulp, just for throwing one punch after having their life threatened all year
