Eligibility would reduce the T14 money tabled for those surplus to the Test team. Want to limit those opportunities? For 1 form player who does have a choice?

They’re building the Club game standard very nicely over there in a market not dominated by soccer. For clubs that wouldn’t pay them nearly as much if they could be selected for Eng.

@TightFive_Rugby 1 win each head to head in the Prem this season. 2nd row battle, both sets of wings and the 15’s will be v interesting going into nations champ. Tigers on the up & starting front 3 formidable but Saints start fast & have beaten Bath home and away domestically. Hope its a classic.

T14 can afford star squads and more player rotation due to bigger salary cap - made possible because the game is bigger and there is no PL football taking tv and live audience wallet. Eng (like Ire) policy iscorrect.

@barbedquill @CharlieFelix The Loughborough Vs St Lukes (now part of Exeter University) game was arguably the biggest fixture in the old UAU. It featured on Rugby Special every year in the 70’s. Absolutely worth bringing back and curating.

@CharlieFelix Most of the Super Bucs players are Prem Academy players so standards are there. Alumni fanbases could be cultivated, Front it with some relatable anchors, could be a cult hit. Weds ‘bridging’ action. ZA have televised their top schoolboy games for 50 years and get 20k+ crowds.

@louwjl @TightFive_Rugby Yes, Borthers showed no guts capping Asher Opoku-Fordour (aged 20) during last year’s Autumn Internationals. Asher can play both sides y’know. Feyi-Waboso has done ok too. He was 21.

@haribaldijones Unofficially, you aren’t supposed to other than by pushing. Hookers contesting = instability. Instability & increased mass+power could result in devastating injury. If game reverted back to endurance rather than 40-50min shifts of size and power, that contest might return.

@Hurricane15 @simondoyle76 @nathan_wake @TightFive_Rugby I think its a 5/3 bench with Mitchell, Farrell and Ringrose now. Toss up between Kinghorn and Keenan at 15. Kinghorn would have done better to have contested more attacking kicks.
