At the end of #internationalcontrolroomweek & the start of a busy Halloween & Bonfire week, I wanted to thank the JFC team for their work over the last year. They have dealt with some significant traumatic incidents, alongside flooding & water rescues & accidents.
Not a river but the A40 in Carmarthen last night after an absolute deluge of rain. Crews from all over @mawwfire Western Division attended numerous calls and as always worked brilliantly 🚒

HNY to everyone, 2022 has most certainly been a very busy one with a variety of incidents. Wildfires were some of the worst I have experienced and floods again played a big part . hope everyone has had a great Xmas break and 🍺cheers to a safe and happy 2023
An absolute pleasure to present Crew Manager Mark Hughes @LlandodFire with his Long Service and good conduct medal. Mark has served the community of Llandrindod Wells and Powys for 22 years. Thanks for your dedicated and continued service @mawwfire
We have declared a critical incident due to extreme pressures on our service.
As a result, some patients may wait longer for an ambulance while others could be advised to access alternative services if their call is not life-threatening.

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of CM James Lucas on the 20/5/21. James was much loved by all he served with and his passing leaves a huge void in us all, and our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time. Stand down now James and rest easy, Stn 2.

Crews from Presteigne, Knighton, Hay on Wye, Llandrindod Wells, along with 2 crews from @HWFire@HWFireControl are in attendance at a large grass fire in the Burlingjobb area of Presteigne. ^NR
Crews worked extremely well and contained the fire stopping its spread. A fast dynamic incident showing the skills of the attending Firefighters, Officers and Fire Control. A big thank you to all staff and the agencies who attended supporting the Incident Command Team.
