As a Muslim, I strongly condemn the heinous attack that took place in Edinburgh motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. My thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims and for Edinburgh’s entire Muslim community.

I want you to know that what happened in Edinburgh does not represent any religion. Terrorism doesn’t have a religion.

However, none of this is happening in a vacuum. Anti-Muslim hatred has been systematically whipped up by politicians and media, specifically Elon Musk.

We must all stand united to reject such terrorism and stand against hate in every form.
