@PitchingNinja Contreras and Happ are former teammates, and if I remember, they were always friendly… I doubt Happ had any intent to hit him. Weird thing for Mikolas to overreact on.
'The city exists in a physical vector while cyberspace exists in a metaphysical vector, but they both seek to connect people to each other, services, and other places of interest in a meaningful and pleasant manner.' https://t.co/tpIU8JiRJr
@helenmakesmaps For real, GIS professionals are essentially software engineers, it’s just that geography isn’t a field that prints money like, say, e-commerce platforms. Makes me sad.
I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X.
I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next.
If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!
For more than 20 years, Metronome has been one of the city's most prominent and baffling public art projects. It includes a 62-foot-wide 15-digit electronic clock that faces Union Square in Manhattan. The famous clock in Union Square has been tracking the time of day since 1999 but has now been reset for a new countdown: the rapidly diminishing time left for the human race to take action to prevent the effects of global warming from becoming irreversible.
@intoitoverit I’ve actually been running a Barber LTD and a Box of Rock for years now… and nothing has displaced them as my stage 1 and 2 drives. When you find a combo you love… nothing can top it.
@OCSteveSDS@CultureCrave He is, by definition, proletarian. All actors, screen writers, lighting riggers… and everything else, they’re all working class.
The owning class, the financiers, they are the problem. They do not produce, they make their wealth thru extracted values and rents.
@OCSteveSDS@CultureCrave 8 million is a whole lot closer to you and I than it is to even 100 million… even 100 million is closer you us than it is to 1 billion.
Regardless, the working class is not defined by wealth it is defined by trading labor for wages. As such, Ron is part of our class.
