@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ Buddy basketball is played on a tiny court mainly indoors. NFL has a million breaks and 4 or 5 different teams. You try to train these lads for 2 or 3 hours to run for 90 odd mins in a game on a “soccer” pitch in the middle of the day and they will die
@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ There are no hot countries in Europe? The 6”4 lads are kicking a ball in europe from 1 or 2 years old, they go to the best academies in the world at 5 or 6. They end up playing CB because technically they can’t match the smaller lads. You fundamentally don’t understand the sport.
@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ The big athletic fellas are there in these countries they don’t make it because they can’t. It isn’t the sport for them. Do you think you’re the only country who has big athletic africans? The UK doesn’t have any?
@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ The vast majority of greats fall between 5”7 to 6”0 for a reason, their agility and the way they can move their bodies and get through spaces matter in football. They have to be lean energy bunnies in the modern game as well capable of doing 90mins on a very big pitch.
@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ They don’t move right at that height and weight to be the best of the best other europeans countries have the funds and have a pool of genetic freaks (granted not as big) and the vast majority of them just dont have the touch and feel for it.
@navajofelon@kipro_tich_ If the US loved football like the rest of the world they’d be competitive at the top but it wouldn’t be these 6”6 250lb monsters doing it. You’d have the infrastructure and funds to find and develop players within the current system of what works.
