Even if people get back every cent of income tax they have paid via the H2B scheme. They have a mortgage now, they need to continue working thus paying income tax

Also you can only get back the income tax you have paid, not a cent more. You don’t recoup any PRSI, USC, VAT and any other taxes/duties.

This does not include PRSI, USC and the whole raft of other taxes everyone pays. Plus lots are on €100k plus. You would pay nearly €30k in income tax in just one year alone.
